1st day: Lake Garda
Arrival on Lake Garda, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day: Lake Garda
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Sirmione and Desenzano sul Garda. Continue to Salò, nestled in a deep inlet with an elegant inhabited center and the Cathedral of Santa Maria Annunziata.
We will continue to Riva del Garda overlooking the lake with still some Venetian flavor. Villas, avenues, parks, the town still holds a high strategic value. To visit: Piazza IV Novembre, the Rocca, the Civic Museum. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon continue to Malcesine. A maze of alleys runs through the old town, at the foot of the Castle, which dominates the lake from a spur of living rock. visit to the Scaligero Castle and the Museum.
Transfer to Garda, a place known for its stays, with splendid villas and rows of black cypresses. Finally we will pass through Peschiera del Garda. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
3rd day: Verona – Mantua
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Verona, full of ancient monuments and protagonist of the love story between Romeo and Juliet. Visit of the Arena, the Roman Amphitheater, the Church of San Zeno and Sant’Anastasia. Lunch in a restaurant.
Afternoon arrival in Mantua. You can visit the Palazzo Ducale, the sumptuous residence of the Gonzagas made known by the famous room of the Spouses frescoed by Mantegna, the historic center and Palazzo Te, one of the most magnificent Renaissance villas in Italy. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
4th day
Breakfast at the hotel.
