How to get around in Rome
Rome is well served by both buses and the underground. With these two means of transport you can get almost anywhere without any problem. The metro is of course the fastest way to cover great distances.
If you are visiting Rome it is better to buy passes valid for 1, 3 or 7 days rather than buying single tickets.
As for the timetables, the subway closes at midnight but the buses indicated with the letter N also run at night.
