5 Days/4 Nights
DAY 1 – ROME – NAPLES – POMPEII – AMALFI
Departure at approximately 6:45 am.
Arrival in Naples and short panoramic visit climbing the Vomero hill to enjoy the splendid views of the Gulf of Naples, with Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida and the city at their feet. Time to take some pictures and then go back to Mergellina. Continuation by bus to Pompeii, where you can taste the real Neapolitan “pizza”. After lunch visit to one of the most important archaeological areas in the world and a UNESCO heritage site, the disturbing ruins of Pompeii.
You will travel back in time to the tragic days of the year 79, when Vesuvius suddenly erupted, covering the thriving Roman city in deadly volcanic ash and poisonous gas, leaving this thriving city crystallized to this day. During the visit you will learn how people lived at that time, visiting the houses of the time with their frescoes and mosaics.
Continuation to Amalfi with private transfer. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
DAY 2 – AMALFI
Free time to discover the beauties of this wonderful coastal town or to dive into its crystal clear waters. Dinner and Hotel accommodation.
DAY 3 – AMALFI – SORRENTO
At 10:00 (approximately), Pick up from the hotel in Amalfi and transfer to Sorrento, where we will embark towards Capri. Arrival on this wonderful island. Hotel accommodation.
DAY 4 – CAPRI
Free time to discover the island, the Blue Grotto, the gardens of Augustus, etc. Hotel accommodation.
DAY 5 – CAPRI – ROMe
Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. In the early afternoon (around 16:00 / 16:30), transfer to the port of Capri to take the direct ferry Naples where we will start our return journey to Roma , expected arrival at 21:00, traffic permitting.
