Borghese Gallery Tour. In the morning, visit one of the richest private art collections in the world. The Borghese Gallery, with masterpieces by artists such as Raphael, Caravaggio, Titian, Bernini and the famous Canova sculpture by Paolina Bonaparte. Then continue with a pleasant walk through the Borghese Park and the Pincio Terrace with its splendid view of Piazza del Popolo.
Along the panoramic Pincio promenade to Trinità dei Monti and descending the famous staircase you will reach the elegant Piazza di Spagna. You will then be transferred to the restaurant from where, after lunch, you will begin the visit of the Vatican Museums, one of the most important art collections in the world, and the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s breathtaking frescoes. From the Museum you will go out directly to St. Peter’s Basilica to admire, among others, Michelangelo’s masterpiece La Pietà and the imposing Baldacchino Altar by Bernini. The tour ends in St. Peter’s Square, with Bernini’s famous double colonnade.
